There were three home wins and three away wins in Round 22 of the Betfred Championship.
It was another win for Toulouse this weekend as they posted 50+ points past a struggling Sheffield side in the south of France.
Then, Featherstone continued to strengthen their Play-Off chances following a points fest against Doncaster.
The Rovers always led at the Eco-Power Stadium, but the Dons put up just as much of a fight and were constantly on their opponents’ heels.
It was only when James Glover crossed five minutes from time that the visitors could finally breath with their 12-point advantage.
Play-Off rivals Doncaster slipped out of the top six as result, with Kyle Eastmond’s Halifax climbing back into it.
The Panthers enjoyed a strong win over bottom-placed Hunslet, which included a brace from Brandon Douglas on his birthday.
Meanwhile, York Knights beat London Broncos to stay top of the Championship with four games remaining.
A first half hat trick, scored in the space of ten minutes, from Scott Galeano, helped the Knights take absolute control.
Four more tries in the second half put further daylight between York and a battling London, but it was another dominant display from Mark Applegarth’s side as they kept up their impressive unbeaten run.
Mike Eccles’ men will now more than likely occupy one of the bottom four spots.
Oldham survived a late Batley scare as the Bulldogs pushed this top four team all the way on Sunday.
The Roughyeds saw a 10-0 first-half lead turn into an 18-14 second-half deficit before Ryan Brierley's 70th minute try levelled the scores, and Josh Drinkwater's boot eventually secured a crucial victory.
Finally, Widnes Vikings made it three wins on the bounce with a hard-fought win victory over Barrow Raiders at the Northern Competitions Stadium – where the hosts celebrated their skipper Jarrad Stack on his 350th career appearance.
Allan Coleman’s side trailed at the break but produced a strong second-half performance to keep their miraculous Play-Off push on track.
Remarkably, the Vikings find themselves just three points from sixth – an incredible turnaround after a mid-season struggle.
From fifth to ninth, the league standings are incredibly tight, with just a handful of regular season games left to play...
